What a marvelous little beauty than this Jugendstil mini silver overlay vase made by the Poschinger company of Germany. This company is not very well known now in the US, even though quite a few wondertful examples are found here. Since they did not sign their wares, most collectors find it hard to distinguish pieces from Poschinger versus Loetz. As a matter of fact very often they are mislabeled as Loetz by most dealers and collectors. Anyway, one does not often encounter a silver overlay by this company, making this example somewhat scarce.
