It is an Art Nouveau vase of the series "Creta Papillon" with a wavy rim. One of the more popular pattern made by the Loetz company if one judges it on how many pieces are out there of the different Papillon decors. This example is quite simple but should not be misjudged as it is quite pleasing too. Photos do not do it justice.
