Here is a good Modernist Schneider glass vase with controlled bubbles throughout it. Schneider like most art glass makers of France started switching to clear glass or crystal after the second world war. They were a way to cut down on cost but still make decent art glass pieces. These clear pieces are not as sought after as the very vibrant color pieces but they still have a place in a Schneider collection as not too many were made. They are always well made and very heavy.
