Description:
This is a scarce Art Deco "jade" vase with yellow/red enamel powders. The vase was blown out in a wrought iron armature and cut off pontil at rim. This vase is quite graceful and well executed. Only models in wrought iron frame should be cut at the rim (meaning have a flat rim) as all other pieces not in wrought iron would have been ground down if the rim was flat. In wrought iron pieces it was the normal procedure. This vase should please even the most discriminating collector as extremely well done and proportioned.
