Here is a Modernist sterling silver broche made by the famous Mexican silversmith Hector Aguilar. The broche is Modernist in appearance but the design derives from Mayan sources. Like any of Aguilar's pieces, this broche is well executed with good details. The broche has been lightly cleaned and looks better than in photos as not so dark.
