What can I say on this vase but that it has an extremely pleasing form which fits its decor so well. It is an Art Deco cameo vase of the series "Ancolie" made by the Schneider company under its Le Verre Francais line. The Ancolie series does not come by so very often but in addition to this, the shape of the vase simply makes this piece a show piece. This vase will be at home in any good Art Deco collection and will be a plus to any LVF/Schneider collection. A vase with the same shape and colors can be seen on page 159 of the Maier's book on Schneider/LVF glass.
