   
After many requests for appraisals, it seemed like the logical thing
to offer our clients in order to provide you with better services. At your request, we
stand ready to assist you with appraising your 20th. century European Art Nouveau or Art
Deco object/s at a nominal fee. This appraisal will be informal as we cannot guarantee the
condition of the object by just seeing a photo and we are not certified appraisers.
The cost of appraisal is $35.00 per item. We
do offer discounts for
several items, at one time.
Why one would use our services:
- Our extended library allows us to document virtually
all European Art Nouveau or Art Deco objects of the first half of the 20th. century.

Your appraisal will be handled by a
European Art Nouveau and Art Deco specialist. In our previous experiences with other
online appraisal services, appraisal requests are processed on a "first come, first
serve" basis by the various appraisers retained by the service. As appraisers
generate income through the volume of request answered, one can never be sure if one's
request has been answered by a specialist or someone with limited knowledge in Art Nouveau
and Art Deco period objects.

we appraise.

- Requests are answered via email and
also with
an original copy mailed at no extra cost.

What
one gets with
an appraisal:
- A background history about your item, including
manufacturer and/or artist designer (if at all
possible), period and techniques of production, fair market and
replacement value, and estimation on market trends

- Response via email, but also a follow in the mail
with a hard copy for your records.

- Our commitment to you that your item will be
thoroughly researched and accurately described.

- An appraisal that comes attached with a reputation
for excellence. We always strive to give our clients the best services and information
available on the market. We keep up to date with all issues pertaining to Art Nouveau and
Art Deco.

How
to submit a request:
- Click on "Submit a request" button below
to send us an email. We will need the following information in order
to process your request:
1) What will your appraisal be used for? i.e
Insurance, buying, selling, estate planning, etc...
2) Has this piece ever been exhibited, to
your knowledge. If yes, please indicate your source.
3) The dimensions of the piece. Its height by its diameter or height by width and
length.
4)
Does it have any
manufacturer, artist or designer mark, stamp or signature? If yes, what
is it?
5) What is your object made of? Glass, crystal, earthenware, pottery,
porcelain, other, etc...
6) What is its condition?
Please, be very specific on this subject as this greatly affects the
value of an object.
7) Personal information on you. We need your full name, full address and
phone number.
8) At least two photos sent as attachments that shows piece and
signature (1 of the whole object and 1 of the signature). Better yet,
several different angles of the piece in question, along with 1 of the
signature. Why do we ask for several photos, because we might spot a
detail or a problem, which you might not have seen and that could be
important
9) Your payment information:
- We accept Visa, MasterCard or
American Express through Paypal. If you would like to pay via Paypal, please
let us know and we will issue you an invoice from Paypal web site.
- Lastly you can also

- Your appraisal will be delivered to you
within 48 hours upon receipt of
your payment. That is unless we need further information from you or
are out of town at time of submission.
