2113 - Schneider

Description: This is a fairly scarce Art Deco satin glass pitcher of the series "Jade" with great overlay color made by the Schneider company. In addition to being a pitcher, which makes is somewhat rare, these early satin examples are quite scarce compared to the later shiny pieces. They also display surprisingly well under any light, which makes them come to life with such a strong presence. The colors of this piece are red, orange with blue highlights by the neck. An applied purple amethyst cascading handle was attached while hot. This is a most pleasing and vibrant ewer art glass.

Description: Here is a great Art deco pink/clear vase with internal randomly sized bubbles of the series "Ecaille" made by the Schneider company. This vase has two applied cascading handles on each side made of the same colored glass. This piece is small but exquisite in its coloring and proportion size. None of the bubbles are burst either as these pattern tend to have that problem, but not this one. One should be extremely pleased by this charmer.

2037 - Le Verre Francais, Schneider
c. 1925-1927

Description: Here is a good Art Deco vase of the series "Lauriers" (Laurel bushes) made by the Schneider company under its Le Verre Francais trade name. The colors of the intercalary enamels are vibrant, which is not always the case in this series. The internal enamel colors  are beige and deep orange, while the cameo parts is purple amethyst. The cameo parts were highlighted with wheel carving in order to produce more details.



2031 - Karl Palda
c. 1920's

Signature: "Tchequo-Slovaquie" (Made for export to France)
Condition: Excellent, dauber detached and not in working condition (should be replaced).

Description: This is a good Art Deco Crystal and etched perfume atomizer made by the Karl Palda Company of Czechoslovakia. It is eight sided and highlighted with black enamels. A great atomizer for the collector of Czech perfume.
