	2221 - Frances Holmes Boothby, American c. 1950's Signature: "Sterling, fhb" Condition:  Excellent Price: $350.00 This is a very whimsical Modernist sterling silver abstract "walking bird" broche handmade by the artist Frances Holmes Boothby of Vermont. She is well known for making this type of sterling silver cut out birds with wire legs. this is a charming little bird brooch with plenty of attitude.
	2228 - Hector Aguilar, Mexico c. 1940-1945 Signature: "Taxco, Conjoined HA in circle, 940" Condition:  Excellent Price: $625.00 What a spectacular and whimsical broche!  It is a Modernist 940 (higher grade than sterling) silver "Winking Cat's head" broche with long whiskers made by the Mexican artist Hector Aguilar in Taxco (Tasco). Mexican silver used to be of a higher grade than European or American one.
	2222 - Designed by Bjorn Sigurd Ostern for the David Andersen Co., Norway c. 1961-1965 Signature: "Scale logo, D-A, 925S, Sterling, Norway, W in a circle" Condition:  Excellent Price: $425.00 Here is a Modernist, basse-taille technique, sterling silver and blue enamel pendant designed by Bjorn Sigurd Ostern for the David Andersen Company. One does not encounter their basse-taille objects very often. Beautiful craftsmanship!
	2220 - Unknown, American c. 1960's Signature: "Sterling" Condition:  Excellent Price: $225.00 Here is a nice handmade Modernist biomorphic sterling silver broche made by an American artist. Unfortunately the piece is not signed so it is hard to attribute the maker. It is nevertheless a good example of American Modernist jewelry.
