This is a great example of Jugendstil jewelry from the well known company of Theodor Fahrner in Germany. This is a good Modernist abstract design silver broche with a large central blue sapphire
. This company made some fantastic design in the Modernist style during the 1960's and 70's, though not too many with jewels. The clean lines and central bezel sapphire are very attractive.

Here is a gorgeous Art deco sterling silver broche with mother of pearl inlay, four color enamels and central inset pearl
. I regret to say that I have been unable to find maker for this little gem as it is definitely pure Art deco jewelry. The enamels are of red, blue green and white colors. One will be delighted with such a beautiful brooch as it is of extremely high quality.
