2383- Keller & Guerin
c. 1930-1935

This is a good Art Deco porcelain airbrush vase made by the Keller and Guerin company. Two birds are represented on the vase amid grape clusters. It is well proportioned and should be a good addition to an Art
Deco collection. Airbrush pieces from Germany and Czechoslovakia abound on the market. On the other hand French airbrush pieces such as this one are quite scarce as they were not made in huge numbers like the German or Czech ones.

2353- Villeroy and Boch
c. 1895-1905

Here is a quite nice example of a Jugendstil (German equivalent movement to Art Nouveau in France) handled vase with abstract decoration on a gray background. This is a stunning vase with great design and excellent form, fitting the decor particularly well. This piece like most of these Villeroy and Boch vases will not disappoint even the most discriminating collectors.





2332- Louis Dage
c. 1920-1930

This is a nice Art Deco pottery rectangular covered cigarette box and ashtray made by Louis Dage. The pottery is glazed over with thick enamels representing a large abstract flower on green background. Louis Dage piece are always extremely well done and of great Art Deco design. for a long time it was underestimated but now seem to have found its audience. Dage was awarded the prize of "Best Artist" in 1924. This piece is a good example of what he could produce.

Here is a great example of a Jugendstil (German equivalent movement to Art Nouveau) vase with abstract decoration and gold gilding at rim. The abstract yellow and brown decoration stands against an olive colored background. This is a very attractive vase with great design and good form to fit decor!
