A splendid example of Art Deco gres (stoneware) "Marguerites" vase designed by Georges Conde for the Mougin Freres Company. Brightly colored abstract daisy flowers and leaves are set against a brown background. Conde in my opinion was one of the better designer for Mougin during the Art Deco period. His relationship as a designer and artistic counsel with Mougin lasted over 11 years, attesting to my comments. This shape and decor but in different colors can be seen on page 166 of the book "Les Freres Mougin, Sorciers du grand feu". Good Mougin pieces do not come by very often. This is one of them!

This is a great Art Deco pottery vase made in Czechoslovakia. It is representing a female bust holding a vase in between her hands. The artist depicted very well the movement in her hair along with her nice slender elegant hands. Sure not to disappoint, this piece will be a good addition to any collection.

Massive Art Deco pottery vase made the Paul Milet Company in Sevres, France. The vase of royal and sky blue glaze was mounted into a fairly complex wrought iron armature with decor of rose flowers and leaves.
