This is the largest Jugendstil porcelain tray I have ever encounter to date. A whopping 21.5 inches in width which is quite rare. It is inserted in a brass metal frame. The soft gray background on it is highlighted with white geometric design in the Jugendstil manner. The replaced foot should not stop one as it cannot be seen when displayed. The tray itself is in immaculate condition.

These trays are becoming scarcer nowadays.

A neat miniature vase made by the famous Amphora company of Austria. This vase has a representation of two bird's heads (same on each side), while the handles remind one of elephant's trunks. Amphora have risen quite amazingly in the past year and a half, I believe because of the new books published on this subject. This piece is well made and a good example of what the Amphora company produced in its heydays.
